Laundry Open Week: A job within the laundry sector can be financially & professionally rewarding.
It offers fantastic opportunities for genuine career progression, from the factory floor to the boardroom.
This year, the Textile Services Association (TSA) together with the European Association, ETSA, and other National Associations are organising an International Laundry Open Week, which will take place on 24th – 28th March 2025.
Aberdeen Laundry Services will be opening its doors across all its Scottish sites in East Kilbride, Aberdeen, Keith, to showcase the large range of roles available across this key industry. As a vital service provider to Scotland’s healthcare facilities, hospitality sector, and offshore industries, Aberdeen Laundry Services plays a crucial role in maintaining the country’s infrastructure.
An event organised nationwide as well as Europe
The Laundry Open Week is a collaborative international event organised throughout the UK by members of the TSA and also across Europe who wish to open their doors to the general public. The objective of the event is to highlight the industry for a day, to show the diversity of positions within a commercial laundry.
An opportunity for job seekers to explore the potential career path within the commercial laundry sector
Commercial laundries offer many different job roles and are constantly looking for new talents, especially as the summer season approaches, a period of high activity for this sector. The day is an opportunity for students, seasonal workers, and job seekers to discover the world of commercial laundry and to discuss current available vacancies that may prove to be the right fit.

How to register
Aberdeen Laundry Services will open its doors at the following locations and times:
– East Kilbride: Monday 24th March, 10am to 3pm
– Aberdeen: Tuesday 25th March, 10am to 3pm
– Keith: Thursday 27th March, 10am to 3pm
In groups of 10, participants will visit their chosen laundry site for one hour with several slots offered throughout the day. To participate, please register with the HR Department at careers@aberdeenlaundry.co.uk by C.O.B 17/03/2025.
